Pente.org will not send you unsolicited emails, or give your email address to anyone without your permission. Pente.org, or other players here, may send you emails at the address provided in the following cases:
  • You will receive a welcome email from Pente.org with your player name and password
  • If you forget your password and request it, it will be sent to you via email
  • If you are playing a game and click Email Game, a text representation of the game will be sent to you via email
  • If you choose to have Pente.org News mailed to you, you will receive news about rarely via email
  • If another player knows your player name, they can send you a message that will show up under "My Messages". If you want to have these messages also sent to you via email you can configure that
  • If you "watch" a topic at the Forums and configure your profile to send emails when the topic is updated, you will get an email with the update
  • If you play in a tournament, the tournament directors will correspond with you about matches via email
  • If you choose to display your email address on your profile any registered player will be able to view it!
