to Billmo:

On the subject of the S-B ratings, we've already sorted that out. If Rich and Del both win 13 games, then yes they will both advance. But they both still have arczi to contend with, and he is a very strong player, so nothing is for sure yet--arczi will be the deciding factor. And yes, if you lose more than 1 game, you probably won't be going to round 2.

It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.

Karl, what is clear to you was not to Homebrew judging by his post, so my note was to him and to anyone else still unsure about the workings of BrainKing S-B values with respect to advancement in this tournament. Good luck to you in the next round, circa 2009...

PS. I wouldn't be so sure if Arczi is 2nd best polish player in pente.

Well I managed to blow my win vs. 100per as black. But it looks like I'll take the set against arneblom, while 100per will tie him.

is it supposed to be karlw and arne's, which would have a zero on the end? i would agree, on first glance, it looks like arneblom is going to pull it out. could be wrong tho, only looked at it for a sec

That's really weird. When I try to edit it, the zero shows. Let's try again:

yeah, i've noticed that bug too, when posting links, sometimes it cuts off the last character for some reason. i always double-check the links in preview mode first.

please refrain from discussing what you would do in game positions for active games at brainking, especially in a tournament!
