Self explanatory one would think........... Inspiration? Depravity? I dunno but it sounded entertaining..................Also peeps who wanna engage can do so at liberty in this thread whilst not invading or tainting the other threads for the sake of the *cough* more civilized in our midst lol......lmao. So have at it!!! Not to imply that anyone here wants to for no good reason sling mud, but at the risk of overstating, I simply thinks that in the future if any saga or un-nicety has to come up that could potentially sully the pallet of the unsuspecting pente public, then it'd be nice to have a metaphorical nerf boxing ring in which to thrash about......any thoughts, or have I finally made the leap to the cuckoo's side of the fence??

LMAO......ummmm well I kinda figgered that there'd be an argument to start things off karl...(and most implications I've heard re:going to hell presupposed the dying thing anyway.....but who am I to be nitpickey?)..sounds like you're just handin' out travel advice and itenerary suggestions for Oregon's tourism dept.......... :P
Ahhhh geez i can tell this was all we needed tho anyway.........

Well now, if I am not mistaken, Dante was able to just that, go to hell before he died. I have also heard many accounts from various sources of individuals visiting hell and returning to tell about it.
But don't let karl's line fool you. While for most, such a suggestion would be an insult or a curse, to karl it is the imparting of a great blessing. Kind of like a monk telling a Buddhist to climb the great mountain. The suggestion of death is just so you wont ever have to leave his ideal vision of Shangri-La.
Ether that or he is telling you to play him in a game of pente.
and squirrel: didnt you say the point of this thread was to talk crap? I was just following instructions, or as you would say, i was presupposing the re: pallet implication nitpickey depraved metaphorical nerf boxing ring.

And apples are green too!!........and I do LOVE an overextended parenthetical statement on a sunday afternoon, don't you?.......)

Pity, I thought that it came more directly from Karl, before finding out it was from South Park. But actually it doesn't matter, as Karl picked up on it. I interpretted this statement as a realistic view of life - almost a spiritual interpretation of what life is all about, though kind of pessimistic. But I think there is a lot of realism in pessimism. It's kind of a starting point for a grounded outlook. Pessimism, cynicism, paranoia even. hmmm...not sure about the paranoia bit.. hold on, I'm not sure about any of this.
I disagree with the statement about going to hell. I think hell is a concept (I hope I'm right.... eeek!)
Someone else post now, I'm drying up, and I need inspiration to talk crap
LMAO.....it was meant to be a facilitation, not an obligatory edict to talk crap lol......everybody can just wait til they're truly pissed to chime in so as to avoid the 'forcing' up of said crap, unless of course they are so full of **** as ummmmmm well Karl or myself or......well like a lot of us here seem to be that they can spew said delightfulness with spontaneity. lol. Doesn't it sometimes hack you off that peeps say 'lol' or 'lmao' at stuff and you just KNOW they're not even smiling, much less 'laughing their asses off' or 'laughing out loud' at whatever's being posted. Makes me wanna run over a box of kittens sometimes.
PS the pessimism, cynicism, paranoid thing's right on......well at least it describes my humble view of a healthy outlook. lol. Dang. I did it again. lol. Someone please pull the trigger now.

So, I need to know. In your most recent post here you started it with "LMAO". Was this the case? Were you laughing your..... er... Arm Off?
When I got used to this LOL and LMAO terminology, I was under the impression that I was a fantastic comedian, making people laugh in a way unimaginable, on the internet. You have just shattered my illusion. My ego (where is it? I know I left it around here somewhere...) is now suffering a trauma (I think it's in the other room with the lights out).
Have you heard the latest? It's not out yet.
ok, enough nonsense! get serious. No more laughing out loud! I want more emotions expressed.

Well to me in a connotative sense, "lol" means i smiled at your remarks, ie mildly amused. "LOL!" means i was mildly shocked and more strongly amused. and "LMAO!" means that it was very funny. To me these abbreviations are meant to convey some of the emotions that hearing someone’s tone and seeing someone's face in a normal conversation easily communicate.
Who let spanky in the PG room?

LMAO.....I do laugh a lot here, but I find myself interjecting the abbrev.s (the word abbreviation really needs an abbreviation don't ya think?) in my side of the conversation and I think its lame.......well mebbe I should just agree with myself that its good to be consistent. lol. Crap.
