lmao del....I'll just tell the cops that Delgr said its cool so just don't worry about it hmmmk?.........I can't grow anything anyways tho. All living things wither up and die in my presence.....some things faster than others, but for instance i had a cactus that the gardening peeps who sold it to me said was a no-brainer as far as plants go; No real watering needs, no sunlight issues, just sit back and watch it slowly grow. It was dead in 3 weeks. Good segue btw del Hopefully me chimin' in doesn't curse your post here

I will tell all my secret when growing any plant.. Dig the hole like 4 times as big as you need..and 3 times as deep.. add a layer of of nitrogen every 6 inches and add good tured soil at each stage....you will grow some awesome plants..

Yay for non-personally-insulting threads!

I have no yard & left all my patio plants in CA, so my entire garden consists of a 3" high apple tree seedling growing in a dixie cup at work. (To get apple seeds to grow you usually have to slit the outer casing just a little.)

Hey good gardening tip valvebabe. I wonder if Johny Appleseed knew this? With a name like yours one would think you had a understanding of hydroponics? Well I forgot to mention the spice box of oregano, parsley, basil and catnip.

I know a little about gardening... but only indoor. Had a SOG under two 300w HID lamps, recirculating charcoal ventilation system... any questions about indoor growing ask away...

I had an onion growing in my cupboard for weeks upon weeks. When I took it to my folks (both grew up on small farms), I was told it was too late to plant it, that it would rot in the ground. It did pretty well in the cupboard, but I really must remember to eat the food I buy.

Apart from that, I have Aloe Vera here, which grows well with little maintenance - it's pretty sturdy whether you under-water it or over-water it. Also, pretty good to have around if you burn yourself - just cut it open and apply the goo. Very good at healing burns, and good for the skin generally.

Excellent alternate to moisteriser if you use that stuff..

Yo! Hooray for Aloe Vera!

Oh yeah, and it grows pretty fast and easily.

I've no garden...

LMAO mmark.....Does that mean that the sci-fi experiments in my refrigerator qualify for mention in this post?

Well I reckon so, but I think they'll grow better and will be more interesting, out of the fridge. A bit of warmth... See how they grow in the dark, and in the light. Try adding things, like soil maybe... and perhaps a bit of water...

I don't know. Depends on what's in the fridge. If it's mould or fungus of some type, then dark wet conditions might really help them flourish (maybe flourish is the wrong word).

Man, I need a garden!

hmm..well I guess we can include fungi.? Never grown any? When the bread looks suspicious maybe time to get rid of it? Nothing like a blue hairy ham and cheese..I am not sure this is gardening..well maybe? Sounds more like lack of kitchen attentiveness.

LOL... if you are really serious, I am actually quite the gardener. It was my hobby long before pente. I have several gladiolas, azaleas, camellias, hostas, elephant ears, hydrangeas, mexican heather, some cacti, chocolate chips, lillies, day lillies, and several others. It has been a brutally dry season though. I lost a few plants while I was on vacation last week.

I can barely keep my spider plant alive. It's down to one leaf.
