kids accounts

I added kids accounts with additional safety features:
- you can sign up an account for your kid from your profile (or settings in the mobile apps)
- kids can only chat with parents or anyone whom the parent whitelists, this includes messages, turn-based game messages, and messages in live games. I currently placed no restrictions on forum posting,
- Optionally, parents can choose to get copies of sent/received messages, and transcripts of messages exchanged in live game rooms, and turn-based message transcripts after each game,
- kids won't be able to change their passwords, that's done through the parent's account, same with password recovery emails,
- current accounts can be converted to kids accounts (confirmation email will be sent to the potential kids account).

This is a new and delicate feature, if you find issues with this, don't hesitate to report them and I will promptly fix them.

Hey very nice!
So there is 1 way or 2 ways to make these?
And where do we locate this?
You said we can turn our account into a kid's account. So, we lose our adult account to make the kids one? Or we can create a fresh account into a kids account? Turning my account into one for example, as I looked around to do that it was not intuitive to me. Perhaps I would need to log out first or something?

And, the table chat saving. This would slow the server if heavily used right? Likely a moot question as live table dont get much use, but was curious.

Thanks

There are 2 ways:
- the parent creates a brand new account from the parent's profile page, or the relevant section in the mobile apps, and then uses those credentials to log the kid in on their device,
- if the kid already has an account, a parent can claim it through that same kids management section, and an email will be sent to the kid's registered email where they can choose to confirm conversion of their current account.

The table chat saving shouldn't cause noticeable overhead, it's all in memory but not stored long term.

There's also information in the help section, if there's more to clarify, let me know.
