My wife delivered the newest member of the club, Samantha Rose. You can see a picture of her in the photos section. (Ignore the funny looking guy who is holding her.)

Congratulations Mark!! My best to the whole family.
Also, if vbarykin is out there, congratulations on beating me in both our games in the PBEM tournament. I meant to resign and convey my congratulations but I time defaulted. That's the first time I've been swept in 18 years. Of course, I didn't play in 14 of those years and it seems likely to happen again soon.
It's good to see pente activity continuing to pick up. The number of talented players keeps growing. In fact, one can make a case that the USA has been eclipsed by the rest of the world. What do you think? Either way, I am glad that the game is not just played in Oklahoma and Texas any more. Maybe we can have a team competition with the USA vs the rest of the world.

Dear Scott I want to stress that it is correctly to say about match between Russia and USA. Because in the gratest PBeM final which we are waiting will be above 50% or more players from Russia. Russians goes ! If seriuoes , all players from Russia who have played in semi-finals have a Dan-level in Renju (black belt). Alexander
