Vint.ee will make a daily auto Pente tourney if I propose a time for them to take place. There are usually daily swap gomoku tournaments and renju tournaments happening there between the east coast times of 7 AM and 12 noon, so probably within that time frame would attract more Estonian players. I think they used to have them at 5 AM Eastern time, which is obviously not ideal for US players. Anyone here have thoughts of when they might like to have a daily speed swap (after 3 moves) Pente tournament?

I went ahead and suggested a 2 PM Eastern US start time, since I didn't get any feedback on better times. It'll probably be 6 rounds of 3/5 swap to start out unless there are large crowds of players, which I don't expect initially. The first daily tournament starts tomorrow, AKA 8/7/2020.

I sure hope not, that'd be a pretty large target to be wearing around Today's tourney starts in about 20 minutes; not sure if I can make this one... https://www.vint.ee/en-gb/games/#164138-11

Congrats to today's winner, Arcoroc (AKA pente_gon). Tough games! ETA: they recently added a new twist to swap gomoku and Pente - a second swap option where you can place two more stones on the board instead of choosing a side and then the original proposer has to choose which side to play.

I've got enough on my plate currently; maybe after the tourney. Meanwhile, you should be focusing all your energies on preparing your lines. Something tells me you've never played in a tournament with six other top players...
It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.
