Open turn-based invitations -> login

I have been hearing some reports left and right about people being redirected to a login page after they've clicked the link to see one of the x open turn-based invitations.
I can't reproduce this issue, so I will need your help. If this affects you, please let me know what OS and browser you use, in the hope that I can reproduce this and fix it.

I opened the "try one of the 5 open turn-based invitations" link in a new tab. You can do that by right-clicking the link or holding down CTRL when you click that link. For me, it showed the invitation instead of a login screen. Moreover, it never logged me out after that (by clicking that link, even in the same tab). Sadly, after I closed and reopened Chrome again, the same bug appeared and the same trick still worked.
