A puzzle position from a recent game. White moves and wins in 7 moves. A year's subscription to pente.org for the first solver!

Two solvers so far, Zoltán László and pente_gon (2 solutions). Neither wanted to claim the prize, however, so it is still available.

Good joke, but no. Most winning first moves take 8+ moves to win here.

A few more correct solutions have come in. Nedhall offered one a bit before lupulo offered another one. If Ned doesn't want prize, then it is offered to lupulo next.

Spoiler alert - do not read if you want to attempt the puzzle. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . F6 and F12 were the two solutions submitted by others. Zoli and lupulo submitted F12 and Nedhall17 submitted F6. Pente_gon submitted both.

What am I missing? It would seem like H8 would be the ideal move for white, leading to potential wins at either F8 or J7 in the next round?
