$$$… entry fee tournaments, starting at $10 per player for lesser played games and a $50 entry fee for Pente… with payouts for first second and third…10% goes to the site owner…

Money tournaments with a minimum of 10 players. Entry fees as follows; Establish players only, $10 for green players, $15 for blue, $20 for red and $50 for grandmaster players , a 2600 rating should be a grandmaster designated title… This could be for all variant pente games, and the Go games… Five moves every 24 hours every day should speed things up… This will jazz things up quite a bit here and bring in lots of top dogs from other sites…

Just curious, but what other sites do you consider to have Pente players on it who don't already play here? I might know of a few Pente/variant players who just play at a few sites, but I'm not sure how many would play in $ tournaments against the competition here.

There are still some other sites where people play Pente and variants, but I don't think there are too many top players active on them who aren't playing here.

Interest seems to have waned but the infrastructure is finally here. Barring bugs, TB tournaments are started automagically. When completed (or canceled because not enough players), a new tournament is scheduled to start 3 weeks later.
