help, dweebo.
Posted: Dec 29, 2006, 1:57 AM

We just recently moved from 56K to high-speed internet (finally), and now I have a turn-based bug of my own to complain about:

The applet loads well enough, but after I make my move and click "make move," the whole thing freezes and refuses to budge. It doesn't affect my browser; I can just go to a different page and everything is okay. But I can't make moves. Any ideas?

It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.

i've heard similar problems from a few players now, very odd that moving from a modem to high-speed would cause a problem, unless they are blocking java applets from loading web pages for some reason.

check the java console after trying to make a move and see if any errors are printed. right-click the coffee cup icon down by the clock and click "open console".

you could also try a different browser like firefox if you aren't already using it.
