Hello Pente Land!
I just wanted to let you all know how the Pente Addiction league has been going. The league has been up and running since, 12/15/2002. Pente Addiction currently has 66 users, (36 active in the past 3 weeks), 432 matches played Ladder wide. We have completed a total of 36 speed tourneys. We currently have 3, pre scheduled, speed tourneys per week, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, all starting at 10:30 PM Easter Time. We also run other tourneys on and in between those days, whenever we have enough members here at DSG at the same time that would like to participate in a speed tourney. Some days we have even held 2 and 3 tourneys in just a few hours time. We plan to hold two special tourneys each month. These tourneys will be invitation only and will require a Ladder Bux entry fee to play. This will increase the total amount of Ladder Bux received by the top finishers. One of these tourneys will be, Tourney Of Champions, all members that have won a tourney in a one-month time span will be invited to participate. The other will be fore all other players that participated in the past months tourneys, but fell short of winning one. We now have 3 Tourney Directors for the league, Vitals, speed_c and Partica. We are even considering having some Keyro tourneys as well. If you have never been to the league site, or have not been there in the last few days, please take a look at what it has to offer and see the changes that we have made. I will be more than happy to help guide you through the links to give you a better understanding of what all goes on. I would like to give a personal thanks to all of you that have helped this league get started and for your future participation in the league. There is plenty of room for many more members and we encourage all Pente Addicts to join the league. If speed Pente is not really your game, don’t fret! You can work your way up the ladder just by playing ladder matches against other members in a regular timed game.
