Mature Audience Forum.......

Hey D....are you ok with a thread incorporating warnings, etc. to the effect that material may be offensive to others but provides a place to share/discuss the more edgy dark stuffs in the way of art, music, poetry, etc. with the line being drawn this side of full-on pornographic material? There are people here who would like to share/bounce off each other without A)unexpectedly exposing an audience that would prefer not to partake, B)facilitating children to participate without parents permission and C)starting &^%$ in general (Believe it or not, I don't enjoy arguing as a rule, I just happen to be 'gifted' that way and am well-equipped when provoked). I dunno if you might be cool with a thread that just simply describes itself as being the place for this content, or if you could/would want/be able to incorporate a filter to keep the youngin's on the Mayberry side of the railroad tracks (I'm being serious). Something I feel the need to clarify in order to counter the absurd claim made against me in another thread today that twisted my objection to the Hussar piece being deleted and MORONICALLY stated I have some kind of a disposition for sharing porn with kids.....My son has always been privy to the darker side of things as his Mom was a teen-horror writer when he was born and she kept a lot of VERY creepy macabre material around her space, and me, well I've always counted it beauty to be a couple shades darker than canned sunshine personally......she's the smartest woman I've ever met, has a genius IQ and a highly artistic mind capable of thinking many, many steps ahead of what most are capable of (she also happens to be the most gentle soul I've ever known).....lol he was 8 yrs old when he saw '28 Days' and I know plenty of grown folks to this day that aren't willing to screen that flick. My son takes after me and his Mom both (he took the chess championship for his ENTIRE school k-6 when he was in the 1st grade and he's quite the badass in Brazilian Jiu-Jutsu by way of Renzio Gracie and Amal Easton at 5'10" and 150 Lbs at 12 years of age).....he is also a very creative individual with an amazing sense of humor and maturity, as well as a penchant for the piano (which he can play by ear), guitar, and drums and visual art in the way of sculpture, paint (oil and acrylic), and digital mixed media, but by far where he spends more of his focus than any is his countless drawings of black ink on 8.5 X 11.5 all purpose paper which, when I get the time I'll scan some of his better stuff and post here if you'll give us the green light Peter(His stuff is pretty dark sometimes ).......
Zoey.....this is the 2nd time you've made an inappropriate, slanderous and just plain evil accusation to me about children and sexuality when you've been frustrated and lacked the precision to identify and utilize appropriate words relevent to the situation. I take my fatherhood and my role to protect FAR MORE seriously than you will ever imagine and my son's mother is right there with me on this as well (she majored in Chinese Kempo for 6 yrs with minor emphasis on Shotokhan Karate, Ai-Kido, Judo, and Jiu-Jitsu herself). Dirty Harry and the Terminator in all their rage might as well be a couple of Daffodils dressed as snow-cones in comparison to either of my Son's parents should any threat be levelled against him.
Do not.....and let me make myself crystal clear on this point my friend....Do Not under any circumstance......allow yourself to venture into this sacred territory with me again.

I don't see the need for another forum. Never the less, if a new forum were created just for the content you're suggesting; wouldn't it be more verbally precise to name it the "Immature Audience Forum?"

This coming from a guy who can't help but slap his knee and lol all over the place like a Gibbon in heat at the sound of his 'go-to' punchline which (you all sittin' down now?....cuz this is a whopper I tell ya hehehe....) consists of punning his name with '****'....Oh geez I think I'm gonna roll right off my patio swept up in the genius and MATURITY of THAT play.....Was someone talking to you anyway Jack?
The material I'd be down to dialogue with peeps about consists of my own work, anyone else's original piece(s) from here, and primarily that of Giger, Hussar and others in the bio-mechanical/macabre genres(only to iterate my interests....bring whatever you want....the more the merrier IMO)......take this piece for instance.....without researching it, does anyone know when it was created?
Don't make me take the safety off this thing.....

Good grief lol.....so its not enough for you guys to have peeps' posts deleted to suit your taste, but when players want to create the format to dialogue AWAY from your stream, then you feel some holy mandate to disrupt that too? You people REALLY need to get laid.......

Ding Ding Ding!!!! The Grandaddy of the darkside IMHO.....its remarkable how ahead of his time he was/is......most other sci-fi slanted stuff becomes hokey in a decade or so but I bet Giger's work will stand on its own and continue to be emulated and expounded upon for generations to come.....I think what gives him this edge is mostly the fact that his ghostly/demonic/whatever you wanna call his direction stems at least greatly from the night terrors he suffers.

Ahhhh mersenne....I dunno what you (or anyone else really)have to complain about in this post, but here you are.....rather than hash history out or respond to emotionally biased bitching/complaining/whatever it is that people are griping about here, I'm gonna lay it out real straight-forward-like from the foundation. Go back to the forum home and determine what the general forums are for....once youve done that, take a moment of objectivity to recognize that precedence here has accomodated movies, talking crap, youtube favorites, cowbells, cheese, books, ART, politics, family videos and much, much more at this pente site that has very little to do with the game but rather the players. I don't have a cross to bear with this idea at pente.org, but the damned thing about me is that I have a real tough time sitting back and watching people be attacked by any majority or authority on the basis of such presumptuous and ignorant opinion. Being the positive affirmation and warm fuzzy guy that I am, I proposed a solution to the 'problem' as it were to create a space where if players had borderline material that they wanted to share, then they might be able to do so without misstepping OR being persecuted for having a perspective that isn't mainstream. I think that this mob mentality/majority rule bullshit is a travesty. There was another big group not so long ago that had some very rigid ideas about art, and they knew and openly recognized that in order to defeat the countries they marched upon, they needed to destroy their art (See "The Rape of Europa") to establish true dominance not only in the militaristic sense but the mental one as well i.e. to break the spirit of those they occupied. Be flippant, condescending and glib to your heart's content, but make no mistake about it, this is a big deal people, and the knee-jerk reaction to label that which we don't understand or identify with as somehow 'illegitimate' or 'less than' is what real evil is all about. Talk about ironic.......

Hey man, you're obviously well educated, intelligent, and very creative. But then again, most everyone here is intelligent. The one thing I think everyone can agree on, is that we'd all like to see you apply those gifts and talents to the game of Pente ... and then see if we couldn't beat the schidt outta ya!!! We all have our various interests, so if we want to hear preaching, we'll find a forum with a common belief system. Here, the word is Pente.
I thought I knew the word well, but then I came here and found out my "skill" wasn't schidt. I bet that if you could rein-in your sensitivity, you'd be challenging. If you'd like to try Pente sometime, I'd look forward to playing you. Maybe we can preach to each other, as long as it's "this side of full-on pornographic."
Oh, something else bud; threats (even if it's a response to an insult) make you look dangerous. So if you would like to be taken seriously, keep it intellectual.

I appreciate the fact that you are trying to do the right thing by creating an area of the site where you can post things for a mature audience.
It is also true that the general forum at pente.org has had all manner of topics unrelated to pente, to which I am ambivalent.
My focus for the site is and always has been Pente. So I do not want to create a separate area at the site for mature content. I believe there are many places for that elsewhere on the internet, and you can always post links here at the forums to other content hosted at other sites (with necessary disclaimers please).

My point was that you want a separate place for borderline material on a pente site. And sorry, I didn't know a simple question was "complaining." I'll be sure to watch out for that next time.

Ok, what about a simply disgusting forum? I don't mean pornographic, or macabre ether, rather purely disgusting. Plus, it could always be mandatory that every post have some reference to pente, for example i could talk about how maggots feel when they wiggle under your tongue while eating them sauced with aged cat diarrhea drippings. Yum Yum. and then i exclaim "Keryo!!! that's good."
Plus peeps could get all Artsy Fartsy and proclaim: "Wow! R3 is the Rembrant of the Disqusting world!! Do you think he'd let me spew my guts in his living room?"

My bad mersenne.....I took it as a sarcastic jab when you iterated your summary of my purpose in this thread in such simple terms with no credit to the fact that the forai here are accomodating in terms of vast subject matter....apology extended. r3 you kill me......I think I broke my jaw earlier tonight and you're making me laugh when its the last thing I wanna do (thunderous applause bellows from the gallery no doubt).
