I say get back to the game, post things that are related to the game...and give all this other bull a rest. It has no place on the website. Bad joke got worse. Please lets stay focused on what the forum is for.

Anyone know how to save a forum thread in scrollable/searchable format? Dumb question I'm sure but there's a few like this one that make me feel all squishy inside so I wanna make like a treerat and stuff 'em in my hole.

I think if someone wants to start a forum thread on any topic (with only the obvious exceptions) then let them. If people don't want to participate then they should just ignore it.
It seems to me that a lot of people in here seem to take pleasure in attacking other people just for the sake of it. This 'sport' is actually the source of most of the unpleasant commentary in the forums from what i can see. If people just stuck to the topic raised or just didn't participate (if it is not their kind of thing), then the forum would be infinitely improved.
In yet another apparent irony, it seems the only thing that the 'Mature Audience Forum' lacks is just that, a mature audience.

People understand something.....Expressions on Morality, jousting,gettin' down and dirty for the fun, excitement and sheer entertainment value is an art older than shakespeare (yes I said art) and it has MANY faces and modes. I'm gonna share something that I never thought I would here because I've got a much bigger fish on my grill to tend to right now in the way of a friend being homeless due to a violent situation at her house. Bear with my bluntness. For every shortsighted and holier than thou comment I've been the brunt of, I have had 5-10 people I HAD NEVER EVEN MET approach me and share their appreciation and how good it made them feel, along with arguably the BEST players at this site. They dont post those compliments publicly typically because they are MATURE and don't need the public acceptence nor do they want to feed a moronic fire. You people looking down your nose at me are missing another big piece of the picture too(mainly because your noses are in the way). That is that some of the most honest and profound relationships in life are those incepted in the foundry's cauldron. The ones that are all smiles and good hair make me want to A) Vomit and B) Bludgeon lol....Me and Zoey for instance used to get along like a couple of kittens in a sack of tazers. I could be wrong but I think that he knows that I'm truly looking forward to following his life with his new found joy and getting together to finally toss back a couple of those cold ones we've always talked about in San Fran....I still say Oregon would be better, but hey, "Tomato Bite me" JhS55 LMFAO dude .....we can be some crude rude mofos when's we wanna be can't we? We definitely shot some sparks a few times back and forth but respect wound up being what grew from that seed and I'm soooooo lookin' forward to schoolin' his sorry *** on the mountain!!!! Partica.....anyone from back then knows how sad that was. Peoples hearts were broken not only mine and hers, but a lot of you that were our friends as well. Guess what.....She's near and dear to me and I Love her to pieces. For any shortcomings, she's the closest thing I've EVER seen to an angel in my life. A great friend that I'll count among the highest til my exit from this rock and I'm quite sure beyond. R3 absolutely kills me. He's also the 1st of only a very few that saw me for the demon I really am.....and that speaks VOLUMES when someone points at you doing something like this and says "I see you, and you're nothing like that, you don't fool me......now allow me to strap your face to a pig's *** with diharrea" Take a cue people.....that guy is one of the smartest people you are going to have the privelege of brushing up against in your life. Pay attention. Being iconic in your field does not mean that you have to be dry, boring, pretentious or full of ****. Apparently questionable looks are a big help, but what the hay ya know? A side effect and inevetible outcome of being like this is one of polarity. Not a whole lot of 'indifferent' feedback, but a lot in the way of positive in my experience and some very pissed off people that want to destroy me on the negative side. Its a trip.....they've followed me around calling me names in the lobby and such BEFORE I had even met them.....The vast majority of the time, the passionately finger pointing crowd consists of the religiously inclined which is why I Love it that Zoey told me one time "You are the Devil" and I now wear that moniker with a great deal of pride (Again....me and zoey are buds) and thank him for it. I resolved a long time ago not to explain myself to anyone for 2 reasons which are very detrimental to relationships. 1)Spoonfeeding is retarded when not involving infants or the disabled. 2) I can't explain myself to anyone. I can offer my perspective, but thats it. I don't 'know' a lot of anything. For instance I was a avid Christian at one time. I took seminary courses while transitioning into a teaching role in my church to become a Reformed Baptist Minister. While I believe in something bigger than myself (whatever you want to call it).....I can't say witha straight face that I put any stock in the Bible other than some of the historical references. (Yes they were real people, etc....did they fly? No....Did the animals speak Hebrew?....Uh-uh...) But it took a LOT of cautious approach (lets face it, the almighty is scary as ****) to determine that if he was real then he would not be offended at my inquiry. If he wasn't.....very unlikey to experience much recourse then. That time period was also when I learned the value of asking a question rather than making a statement. Not only does the asker have to use their tools to frame and formulate an inquiry in the name of relevance, context (BIG FREAKIN WORD THERE), etc,,,,but it has the added benefit of showing curiosity as opposed to accusation to the recipient. There are a beautiful group of people here that I have a lot of affinity for and will stay in touch with long term, but there is a LOUD mob section that doesn't want my words to be spoken and theyve shown that they will engage in pretty much any underhanded behavior including rumors, hateful slanderous things being said about me (and my friends and my child) and so forth. in debasing dialogue to humorless, judgemental expressions of sincere hate and lack of any appreciation for understanding or enlightenment, I choose to exit that environment to meet, align myself, and spend time with people who know better what life is about. (Don't get me wrong, I sill LOVES a good Octagon fight hehehe)I offer no apology save the one to Partica I made publicly when I was truly out of line a couple years ago which still stands and I honor. I'm going to keep my account active for a week or so so if any of my friends want to exchange contact info (the ones that haven't already) and would like to stay in touch, we will be able to do that. For those of you comfortable to remain, I have 2 words of advice when dealingwith the irrational and hateful.....1) They are cowards. Afraid to study, to inquire and most of all to admit if they've been wrong. Their behavior is characterized on the internet by firing from cover and then hiding for fear of being discovered. Don't EVER be afraid of them. In the real world they don't even exist (generally) because they get put in their place when they can't hide behind an anonymous ID in cyberspace when they act so Obnoxiously. 2)The problem is only going to become more prevalent the more prolific the site becomes. I think that's the number one piece of why I have been so vocal until now and also why I can't bear to watch anymore. Frenchafry, delgr, partica. tragedy, wolfley, jay, mel, lisa, mikey, karen lol, alex, r3, nosovs, s3v3n and the list goes on and on........I miss those cats. A few of us are still around but I feel like a refugee anymore. I didn't see any bullying or real aggression in a forum until well into 2007 I think it was.....if anyone ever would have asked the basic question(s)regarding my 'editorials' shall we say(?) You would have found a couple of prominent common denominators. Actually I'll leave you to that. If you give a **** you'll figure it out....if you don't then why waste my breath. In the words of a wise woman Peace Love and Light Everyone!!!!
PS Make no mistake about it, these guys not only aren't 'winning', but the CAN'T win.....they can degrade and create a foul smell, but no, not win. I knew this was coming soon, perhap not this soon, but between now and February. I've had a hankerin' to do some delving into the dark side through some other avenues for a few years now and a couple of women at this site who I have VERY high regard for have suggested that I identify some more action (can't stand the word 'activism' lol)rich environments with larger audiences and maneuver into Editorial and Commentary.....Hey when not 1 but 2 women give you the same advice, ya'd better git 'er done Skippy!
