"unofficial" unsupported games you can play here

I think it's fun sometimes to play what I'll call "unofficial" variant games here when we want a break from the regular variants. There are a lot of possible games which can be played on the board and relatively few are "official".
So, starting a list of a few which I've played (or considered playing) here. Feel free to add some to the list. Please describe them/ list the rules for them if they aren't obvious from the name.
Anti-Pente: I think this works best on a 9x9 grid (bigger takes to long to fill up for my taste) but whatever size board seems best to you will probably work ok, provided it falls between 5x5 and 19x19.
The rules are- first person to make a 5 in a row or capture 5 pairs loses. An anti-Keryo game would probably be pretty interesting as well.
Combinations of variants: One I'd like to try is poof Keryo (three different formation shapes which would all be poofs- xo_x, xoo_x and xo_ox) I've tried a few games of poof D Pente, it seems pretty good as well. Boat poof, D Keryo, boat D, etc. are a few more of the many options for combining games with each other. Connect6 with captures might be interesting as well, though difficult to find a board on which to play it easily, I think.
Anyway, those are a few which I can think of right at the moment. Add more to the list.

Okay, I think this one would be tough to play either online or offline without a good "platform", but how about 9x9x5 3D Pente? If you took a Go board and added a chess board, you could theoretically play this. On the chess board, you would play on the intersections rather than in the squares, just as you would normally do for Pente. On the Go board, each quadrant of the board would contain a 9x9 area which would represent a different level of the game. Beware of the dread tetrahedron formation, which threatens to make a 3 in 6 different ways...

lol. The only possible difficulty I see with adding speed in with these games is that generaly speaking some lines can't be finished out on the board, but rather need the analysis to continue- as in a Keryo game which ended up going into Boat OT, for instance. In that case, the players would either need to stop play right before the Keryo "win" and type their moves into the chat box until a winner was agreed upon or else play the Keryo "win" and continue the chat moving without a timer running. So, if the clock stops but the game goes on, the timer is less relevant. Similarly, if discussion arises about the consequences of some move in a hybrid game, should the clock still be ticking?
Generally, I think my preference would be for playing with a maximal speed time on one of these (5 mins, or perhaps something like 3/5), just because they could potentially become quite complex to figure out what's going on after play can no longer continue "on the board".

As mentioned in another thread (interesting bug) I recently tried out anti poof pente. A full board takes awhile to do. If you wanted to try it (either full board or partial) here are some of my recommendations-
Rules- first person who is required by the board position to make either a capture, a sacrifice of pieces or a five in a row loses.
Suggestions:
Unrated is probably best; but up to the players involved
give both sides plenty of time (or turn the clock off)
if you want to play full board, I suggest starting with the inner 9x9 and playing out from there. That's what I did, with an additional "rule" that once the inner board was filled as full as possible, players could start filling in the outer board, but only with a stone played adjacent (diagonal okay also) to one already on the board.
allow for undos- it gets really tricky otherwise, and the game will likely end before its time except perhaps a game between two masters. With undos allowed, all you really have to watch out not to do is to complete a 5+ line, which can't be undone.
When one player runs out of safe places to play, the game is complete; either that player resigns or the game is cancelled, depending on the players' preferences.

This is roughly what a mostly completed game looks like- minus the double capture and with a few additional moves available at the end (there was a bug, but hopefully it is fixed now).
