Question about a game against Boston ope

I am playing a game on IYT.com that looks like this 1)O,R1U1 2)R3,L1 3)D2,U1 (I believe this is a weak move for Black and think that R1U2 here for White (me in this case) would be the move that I should make here on my 4th. move. What do you all think?

Introduction AND re: penteman's question

Hello all:
I should probably begin by introducing myself. My name is Patrick Flahie, and I play most of my pente under the userid neysa over on Richard's PBEM server. I would probably consider myself no better than a novice at this game, but I have been playing on and off (more off than on) for probably four years now.
Before I respond to penteman's question, I think that we may want to consider what etiquette we wish to observe. Although no one would worry about discussing the course of a game after it has been completed, I am not sure that it is in the interest of fair play to comment on a game in progress -- at least with one of the players. (Heck, playing pente can be hard enough without having to face Mr. Mammel without even knowing it!)
I don't want to start trouble before I even get my foot in the door, but I think that it's something to be considered. What does anyone else think?
Penteman, I do have some thoughts on that position, and I'd be happy to share them later.
If there's anyone else out there in PBEM land, feel free to challenge neysa when you get a chance. I'm going to be somewhat busy with tournament games for a while, but I would be happy to try to establish some gaming relationships with the people on this board.
Patrick.

I can think of a practical reason not to discuss games in progress--if word gets around that we are using this club to discuss games in progress, no one will want to play club members. After all, would YOU want to go against the combined analytical power of this club? I wouldn't.
Having said that, I have a recently completed game that bears looking at. I was playing penteman on IYT, and I went first. The game opened thus: 1.)0, U1 2.)R3, R2U3 3.)R1, R2 4.)L1, R4U2? I gained the initiative with 5.)R1D2 and never relinquished it. I thought at the time that penteman's fourth move was a mistake, but I went back over the opening and couldn't find much that was better. Everything in this line seems to funnel into keystone attacks for White.
This much was not surprising--it's why I played the line. What surprised me was that penteman told me later that there was not a single game in the '83 Championship book where White responded to U1 the way I did. Did I come up with something new/good? Does Black have a fourth move from this position that preserves hope?

What!? Sure, there are several. Your R1 for your third move is good, so is R1U2. For Black's fourth, instead of R4U2, I have played R2D3?? (blocking one of the lines that you would form if your response was R1D2). My opponent did not play R1D2, but L3 and ended up losing which was I think his fault, not mine. My program plays 4... R2U2 which doesn't look too bad, but I imagine white can beat it.

What I actually told pentejr was: Of all the games in the '83 World Championship where the Wallace opening was used i.e.( 1.)0,U1 2.)R3,R2U3 ); there is not one game where White(the person who made the 1st. move) ever moved at R1. That 83 World Championship book contains 8 Wallace opening games and most of the time White moved at R1U2 but NEVER at R1 and by the way the 1st. time I had seen R1 for White's 3rd. move was when Pentejr pulled it on me onetime.
