How to become the WORLDS BEST PENTE PLAYER

I've always played by the seat of my pants, no memorized traps or combinations and do pretty well. I feel that in order to get to the next level of play I must combine my creative style of play with a more technical style. Any advise?

ahem,...karlw richardiii up2ng spifster and all the greats of pente,.. respond to his question if you will... Don't have me be the one to awnser, I'm still learning myself. But if none respond, then I will say a few words of things I've heard the masters say before...and maybe some of my own.

possibly the strongest argument against the belief that becoming a good pente player requires a special gift is to compare pente to other intellectual disciplines and ask, what is required to become good in that discipline, from Archaeology to zoology, becoming accomplished is a matter of time, work and practice not heavenly intervention. Mounds of empirical data support this claim and I have lots of data to prove that my work with Guinness makes me think I am smarter......
