jlekos joins our table while me and jhs55 are playing connect 6
he proceeds to tell us (in bold letters) what morons we are and that the game should of already been over.
(my gues is he thought we were playing pente)
i have never met jlekos before and i found out from jhs55 he hadent either
after roughly 5 more outbursts along the same lines of how stupid we were and morons and such, i finally remembered the boot player button.
after a few laughs between us about kids with nothing better to do but cause grief and maybe how drunk he must of been, he co-incedently showed back up.
then it was about 50 times i had to re-boot him, seriously it went on for roughly 5 minets.
now some people will comment that we can always make a private channel to play. while i am not a social bug as jhs55 is, i do like to create a table and welcome anyone who is interested to come and play.
i would like to suggest an alternitive option for senarios like this.
a ban button.
instead of a single boot from your current table, it would ban the said grief player in mention, hence only taking once to boot.
i seem to recal a similar discusion on the forums way back when. but i dont recal the options or soulutions that became of it, and having never run into this before, i didnt give the thread much thought at the time as being an issue, maybe a random case or issue.
maybe this is to complicated a scrip to program, but without an admin to request assistance it makes you just want to leave.
Again this topic comes up.....(see topic titled 'morons takin' over the joint' under the 'help' section of the forums and I know there at least 2 more threads that have been started in the general section this year.
Yes and then we can throw these people in giant vats of water, and if they float, then we know they're witches! Good grief people.......booting someone from a table and implementing an 'ignore' option will be plenty sufficient.
lmao karl....cheers OK....Pet peeve here....its called "spell check" people. If you want to come across intelligibly and not look like a chimpanzee has been throwing darts at your keyboard from across the room with a blindfold, use the "spell check" button above the message prior to posting. Okay. I feel better now. Thank You.

And, I'm sure this has been asked for before, but can we have a pool table and some comfy chairs in the main room please? Sometimes I get fed of of pente and just want to play pool instead, or sit in a comfy chair...

you know you were Skwirrel! you were really. You knew that one day I'd turn up and read this thread and get offended at the fact that you rant about spelling mistakes without making one yourself! That's just not on.

Yeah well e and Pink Floyd have 2 more words for you Mmark.....We don't need no educashun!!! So so much for the lil' 'lesson' you wanted to teach me/us/you/anyone else I missed. Furthermore thank you for the lobster offer but no thanks, you can keep your crabs and all associated vermin for your own sick pleasures. Further-furthermore just because you're English doesn't mean that your manners, your tea parties, your bell towers or silly akcents are any better thann the ones we have right here in the goood ol' US of ABC's. And even further than THAT furthermore YES I DID know that one day you would show up and get offended about me ranting about other people ranting without exercising the common courtesy to make sure that their little worlds are revolving about me in an orderly and correctly spelled fashion, BUT it's all part of my MASTER PLAN hehehehehehehe............. :P

To King Squirrel,
I have such a funny and clever response, that I need to get it copyrighted before I can post it, as it could land me some big bucks.
Beautiful mind is an interesting film. Apparently it is full of inaccuracies (based on a true story). John Nash never had a visual hallucination for a start, but I suppose that an auditory hallucination is harder to convey in a film - especially when trying to fool the audience that the characters were real. I saw it at the cinema - pretty good film. Hmmm... I'm in the wrong thread now, but there seem to be other threads on Good Grief Players.
