Can there be an extension on the Gomoku timer?
Posted: Dec 8, 2005, 11:10 AM

Heya Dweebo....Any chance that it would be easy to alter the Gomoku timer? That way Partica wont keep winning just cuz I think too much. In my limited gomoku career, mainly with Partica, frechafry and Kimly, I am finding it not unusual at all for the number of moves to be in the 30's and tonight's game that was rushed due to the timer was in the 40's. Partica told me that she and Kimly had a 60+ move game the other day as well!! As far as time parameters go....Boy, I dunno...at LEAST 40 minutes I'd think would be more fitting for this type of game play, probably even an hour, but hey, 1 guy can't know everything can he? Hehehehehe.....Thanks Dweebo!

I am confused by your question, are you not aware that the game timer can be changed at any time for any game??

The owner of the table is responsible for the timer, so if you own the table you can set a 999 minute timer if you wish, just click the "Set Timer" button.

I would also recommend you play loooong games with an incremental timer, which gives you a few additional seconds of time for each move you make. That way if you are running low on time at the end, you still have a few seconds per move to survive.

If I misunderstood your question please reply.

Duhhhh...thanks Dweebo...LOL....no I wasn't aware that the timer could be set to extend gameplay, only to shorten it for the sake of speed games, etc....thx for the clarifyin'!
