Kicked out by BUGS in the system

I have noticed that I have been kicked out by the system several times in the last couple days when I played. I know that I have not been the only one who has been kicked out. How can this problem be fixed?

Its been going on for the last week or so....many times per day most days... I have high speed, so its not a huge deal....I'm mainly speaking up to better define the problem is all

It happened to me several times, and I switched browsers from Firefox back to IE and I haven't had any problems. I am by no means saying that was or is the problem, it just "seems" to have fixed it for me. At least so far

I have been kicked off several times, often times my opponent is also kicked off. It has nothing to do with the browser, I have been kicked off using IE and Firefox.

There are always a variety of reasons why this happens, but it appears that this current problem is booting off everyone, which I consider a much bigger problem than just one player getting booted (since all games are cancelled).
In the log files I see that when it happens there is a pause of 1-3 minutes where absolutely nothing appears to happen on the server, then everything is fine again.
Warning, techo-giberish ahead! This type of situation can occur in java due to garbage collection. It is a memory feature, in basic terms DSG uses memory and eventually that memory needs to be reclaimed, java does this for you but occasionally it can take a long time (have to scan entire memory basically looking for objects that can be reclaimed).
I will start to log data about the garbage collection events, that should prove/disprove this theory. If that is the problem ,then I have to figure out how to tune it appropriately, something I haven't done before but can probably figure out.

Update from previous post. I have confirmed my theory, the culprit is the garbage collector, which has had several instances of running for over a minute in the past day.
I've also discovered that there are some odd memory leaks, the server ran fine with less than 64mb memory for most of the day, then quickly ran up to 300mb at around 2:50am, when not much was going on.
I will continue to monitor and investigate the memory issue, and will come up with a solution for this.

It might be a little early to celebrate, but I think this issue is resolved. You might still get kicked off the system for various reasons, but the rather frequent issue of ALL players getting booted at once should be fixed. Of course there could be other memory issues I haven't found yet, but I now have a better way of finding them for the future.
