Pente Master's Official Skill Test thread

This thread i will develop over time. A way to test masters skill levels. Through puzzles and discussions. Points results will help add to the determination of who should be in the 2028 Super Pente Tourney. As ratings or winners of tourneys is not enough data to know who is truly a top skilled player, deserving to compete in an elite bracket.
***Unless I ask you to create boards to show something, you are to private message your answers to BOTH me and Karlw. ***
Here in this game. One of my more recent in history regrets. P2 had sure win. But failed to realize the correct move. Where did P2 go wrong?
Solve for p2 = 1 and half points.
answer wrong and you lose half point from your points total in these challenges. answer at your own risk.

In this game, using my p2 opening. P1 made error. Then P2 had sure win, but then P2 made error.
Did P1 mess up after P1's 3rd move? Or was P1's 3rd a losing move?
Where did P2 first mess up after gaining sure win position. In other words, What is P2's EARLIEST move (AFTER P2'S 5TH move) to change in order to maintain said sure win?
i say after 5th simply because those 5 moves as a whole define my opening which they used.
Nedhall no answering because I already messaged you the answer.
Special note: any player who can use whites first 3 moves vs me in this current masters tourney and can defeat my opening gets extra points towards enrollment eligibility in the 2028 Super Pente Tourney. IF I make it to next round. You can request i play this opening. But if you request you must play those first 3 moves as P1. And, this offer is void if someone in this thread correctly shows a P1 solution.
Solve for P1 meaning make P1's 3rd move sure win= 2 and half points. (this would need to be an elaborate explanation)
Solve for P2 = half point. (you just need to say a single move at which move number, it's pretty obvious when you see it.)

Challenge #3
Create a new board position, and game flow/moves, which exemplifies a perfect example of Adzi. The more types of adzi it contains, the higher i will rate it. You must write an explanation of each adzi move and why its adzi and what it is doing. For slightly lower points you can post an actually played game which contains adzi, and explain it.
Solve = half point up to 2 points. Depends how good.
“Adzi is like a stone in your shoe when you are late. The stone hurts and you can't run as fast, but because you are late, you cannot stop to take it out.”

challenge #5
the following is old popularized opening. P2's second scared P1 into developing a new second. Does P1 have a winning 3rd move? yes, or no. IF yes, which move.
No = half point + or - Yes = half point + or - winning 3rd move = 1 point + or -
and yes IF you guess any of those wrong, the amount of points you attempted to gain, that same amount will be deducted from your point total in these challenges. accept challenge at your own risk. careful, this could be a set up to lose a lot of points.

First, me and Karl have no need to use n11 vs n8, nor j7 vs o9. And you know this. Request for adzi example, you know I know adzi better than most. About beat gamo, or solve for 3rd in n8 open. Then simply dont answer if you dont trust or feel offended.
But we need a way to determine skill sets, beyond just ratings. Or who won one long *** tourney. For when it comes to hand selecting highest skill level for a 6 slot super pente tourney. We simply need more data.
So, answer questions, or dont answer questions. But people who gain points, will gain edge. Your call.
Besides that, it sounds like karl means business so in addition to his swinging, no supper for insubordinate workers. Just bread and water if you keep it up. Not fresh bread, 3 day old dry stuff.... and unfiltered river water.

SCORE BOARD
Noahred16: 1.5 points

Congratulations Noah! You are the first to complete a challenge earning you a sizable point lead. And zero points lost for errors. You just defeated Gamo. Well done.

Sent to PM.
Long story short: 1st problem has two solutions; 2nd is a brilliant problem, far beyond others; 3rd and 4th - no comments; 5th has at least two solutions; 6th has two solutions.
