Has anyone beat the program on level 1 yet?

I was just informed recently that level 1 is the hardest and of course I've been playing it on level 1 thinking it was the easiest and level 12 the hardest. Has anyone beat it on this level? If so can you post a game or at least an annotation of a game. It has perfect play for the most part it seems. I lose like 10 moves in. There has to be a way.

Okay thank you for the insight. I just finished a game. Analysis would be appreciated if possible. Also if level one is easy then what are the other levels like in comparison? * NOTE... I did see that you beat it in two less moves than myself so I must have been making mistakes right?

Well, your second move is pretty weak; N10, O10 (or G10, F10) or K7 are all stronger options. The higher levels search further, so are generally harder and slower. The program uses weak openings along with strong ones, so it's not impossible to beat it if it opens weakly. Generally, most Pente games are over after the first 3-5 moves by player 1 and it's just a matter of playing them out. As to winning more quickly, some games can be needlessly prolonged by extensions when they're clearly over and some lines naturally end up taking more moves to reach a win than others, so don't worry too much about winning in the fewest possible moves.
Retired from TB Pente, but still playing live games & exploring variants like D, poof and boat

not sure of level 1. but at one time i had a move file of 30 ways to beat P1 on level 8. I'll add that the AI can struggle to see a potential post 3 shape. especially diagonal.
post 3 would be "stone space stone space stone". x_x_x
