Pente.net dead and buried?

Looks that way after 6+ weeks. Oh well, I guess I'll have to let all of you chase me around the Pente board here instead!!

I know playing here is much more realistic but Pente.net's turn-based platform was much more practical for my schedule b/c I rarely have time to devote to anything other than work and family. It was nice to be able to pop in for a minute or two every now and then and play turns in ongoing games over there.

I'm sure I won't miss it once I see my losses start to pile up here.

brainking.com is a good turn based site for pente. Give it a try.

I think I looked at that a while ago but it seemed as though it might take a month to complete a game. Not much activity over there. Still worth a shot...

Look under the ratings and you can determine which players are active by the number of games they've played and when their most recent games were. The ratings section also allows you to challenge players of your ability. Yes, if you just wait for pente games to be posted in the games waiting section, it can take awhile. And, non-members are limited to 20 games at a time.
