Who is the best?

I have an announcement to make.
Despite my recent 4th place showing at Las Vegas this month, I hereby declare that I, up2ng, am the best pente player of all time. In fact, I am unbeatable. Flawless. Perfect. If anyone out there thinks otherwise, come to DSG and prove it to me!! The best time to try and find me is between 8pm and 11pm eastern. I'll try to check in at least once a week but if I don't, oh well, at least you will be here having fun. I will list below the DSG nicknames of all players who manage, from THIS point forward, to beat me in both games of one SET (since SETS are the only results that matter in pente -- until ratings here are adjusted based on the results of a SET, everyone's rating here is completely worthless, thus I can claim that I am the best and you cannot point to my rating as any sort of proof whatsoever that I am not)
To qualify, a player must beat me in both games of a single SET (the second game of one set plus the first game of the next set does not count). Both games must be rated, and have timer settings of 20/0 or longer. The game type is "Pente" (pro-pente). I make the final decisions in all cases.

i dont think i want to play u, if u r the best of all time..... i'll just sit on the sidelines and watch....and never play u again!!!! i'm skeered!!!!!! way too skeered!!

Hmmmm. Well, I suppose you can "think" you're the best Dean, my friend, but I'm going to have to disagree. The fact is, I'm the best. I'll be here to prove it by crushing you soon! Keep an eye out for me.

PS As a testamnet to my bad a$$ness, let me remind everyone that I was the only one to beat dmitri as player 2 at the Vegas tourney. In fact, as a side note, I won more games than any one else in attendance (that's a lot of winning as player 2). Thus proving, I rule! LMAO!

Hello partica!
As a matter of fact, I AM still updating the Hall of Fame! I guess I haven't been playing as frequently lately, but I am still updating the list!
There haven't been any new players to add since January so it may have seemed like I stopped adding names. However, I previously had not been posting duplicates, but I'm not sure why I had decided that so I've gone back and updated the list with duplicates. Right now, the latest date is May of this year, the finals of the DSG tournament. Who will be the next to join the Hall of Fame??
It looks like some of the "top" players who have recently "retired" within the last few years are too scared to step up to this challenge. They think they have mastered this game. Well, come back to DSG and prove it.
