I certainly would have to agree that this DSG tour would classify none as a world champion, but then neither would the Vegas tournament, as it will not have any of the great players from Russia, Poland, Chez Rep, nor a certain player from Hungary(virag). At best the Vegas tournament could only be classified as a North American Championship.

Richard, I was, in no way, trying to impugn the legitimacy or importance of the DSG tournament. In some ways, it is a more accurate measure of strength worldwide, since anyone can play, no matter what there location. I was just saying what I said: your absence would diminish the legitimacy of the Vegas tournament.
