Hello Addicts:
I just wanted to let you all know that it has finally happened! I have reached my 100th speed tourney and would like it very much if all of you could come join in on the fun. I have scheduled it for December 20, at 8:00 PM EST. It is a double elimination tourney with random pairings and a 5 bux entry fee, I will be donating 200 bux to the tourney winner. Hello Addicts! I thought I had better say something about the 5-Bux-entry fee for my 100th tourney. If you do not currently have 5 ladder bux, but still wish to enter the tourney, then you will need to play some ladder matches VS any other Pente Addiction league member to build your bux up. You can only receive 2-ladder bux per day for ladder match reports excluding ladder bux tourneys). However, if you are the unfortunate soul who has to report the loss, you can click on the ad just above the “Report Loss” box, and receive an additional 2-bux for clicking the ad. There is no limit on how many times per day you can receive the ad clicking bux, so be sure to click on that ad every time you report a loss.
If you are considering becoming a Pente Addiction league member so that you can participate in my 100th speed tourney, then you can avoid being ladder bux broke by filling out some of the items they give you at sign up, to receive free startup bux. That way you know you have it covered. Also, if you have just recently registered at the league site, but have yet to play in any tourneys or ladder matches and have no bux, you could consider deleting your account and then re-register with the same ID, but fill out some of the free bux items they give you on sign up. I know I got 10-Bux just for putting in a fake B-day.
Ladder games must be played as a set, meaning both players must play from each seat. In order for a player to win the set, He or She must win from both seats in the same set. If the result of the set is a split, meaning that both players win one game in the set, then there is NO WINNER and there is nothing to report. The Loser of a set must only report ONE loss. If you are playing a ladder match, then it is up to the players to decide if they wish to play another set. In a ladder match, the two players that are playing get to decide on the table settings.
To report a ladder match loss, just go to the league site (www.myleague.com/penteaddiction) and click on the “Report Loss” under the “Ladder” heading. Fill in the correct names and submit. Sorry for any confusion. Thanks everyone!! Peace Out Vitals
