wow, i am sooo impressed! is every1 here so busy trying to prove their intellect? no wonder newbies don't feel welcome... you are all so much smarter than they are.learn to treat others w/ respect... that is how you gain respect. guess i'll go make mud-pies and pick my nose now. sorry if i interrupted such high-brow commentary.
When I started on this site, everyone was perfectly nice to me. I immediately felt welcomed, of course, my Pente skills were so poor, NOBODY felt threatened by me. As far as the boot thing goes, I don't think I've ever actually booted anybody although there have been a couple of times that I came close. I've been booted once or twice and don't recall that I did anything to 'deserve' it. ::shrug:: I figure that since there are no 'rules' that the table owner can boot who he pleases for whatever reason or none at all. Who cares? Why would anyone want to hang around where you're not welcomed? To complete my two cents worth, this site was better before the forum feature was added. I see a lot of whining by people who too easily get their feelings hurt, and a lot of vitriol. These sorts of venues lend themselves to people saying hateful things that don't help any situation and that they would NEVER say to someone's face. I will no longer read the forums, for that reason. Still be glad to play with any of you. Cheers
