Here are a few places to play pente online. To the best of my knowledge, all of the following sites are absolutely FREE:
Richard's Play By E-Mail (PBeM) Server is a great place to get some online pente action. For instructions on how to join, send an e-mail to pbmserv@g... with the subject line help.
Dweebo's Stone Games is, as far as I know, the only really real-time pente server on the 'Net. Go to www.pente.org for real-time pente.
Finally, I know several people who play pente on itsyourturn.com. Though I have not tried this site myself, I have heard that they have a tournament like every month or so.
